Checkpoint ladder

TNT Voxel Playground Progression Guide

Progress from a repeatable standard-TNT baseline to one-variable comparisons, then scale chain size only after the smaller test behaves consistently.

Progression map

Advance checkpoint by checkpoint

Every stage needs a visible move-on signal.

  1. Stage 1

    1. Record a baseline

Use standard TNT, one terrain patch, a fixed count, and one trigger.

  2. Stage 2

    2. Compare a trigger

Repeat the layout with Flint and Steel and the Detonator without changing TNT count.

  3. Stage 3

    3. Compare one special TNT

Choose Paint, Cluster, Drilling, or Lava TNT and record only visible differences.

  4. Stage 4

    4. Scale the layout

Increase count or spacing gradually; do not jump straight to the advertised private-server maximum.

Decision basis

Know why the account should advance

Baseline stage

Repeat a small standard-TNT placement until timing and crater observations are consistent.

Comparison stage

Change only TNT type or trigger, keeping terrain, count, and placement as similar as possible.

Scale stage

Increase TNT count only after the smaller layout works; use a free private server for higher-count experiments.

Recovery

Fix the current roadblock

Results keep changing

Return to the same terrain and standard TNT, then reduce the number of changed variables.

Special TNT is hard to compare

Use standard TNT as the control and keep count, spacing, trigger, and terrain fixed.

Large chain is inconsistent

Return to the last repeatable smaller layout and add TNT in one measured step.

Calculator

TNT Test Log

Record inputs and visible outcomes.

Updates
